Lead Clinician – Yves De Vos
Yves is a UK based Chartered Physiotherapist who specialises in the treatment of male pelvic disorders.
With a 30-year history of being a musculoskeletal physiotherapist mainly dealing with lumbar spine, pelvis and hip disorders he diverted his focus to male pelvic health since 2019. He was one of the pioneers in using shockwave therapy for male pelvic disorders in the UK.
He has a strong relationship with Storz Medical Ltd and Venn Healthcare Ltd and has been using shockwave therapy since 2013.
He is a bestselling author of several books including the book ‘Shockwave Therapy for Erectile Dysfunction – Using Technology to Solve a Hard Problem’ with copies having been sold in 4 continents.
As part of his relationship with Storz Medical Ltd and Venn Healthcare Ltd, he is a UK and international shockwave therapy educator having presented at many conferences and leading workshops to teach clinicians how to apply shockwave therapy both in musculoskeletal and in urology conditions.
He is also a clinician and runs specific male pelvic health sessions in his 2 clinics in Hampshire and Berkshire. He has also formed professional relationships with urologists and leading men’s health physio’s both in the UK and abroad.
He is a member of the International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM) and member of the European Society of Sexual Medicine (ESSM).
